Steven Cooper

Founding Partner

M. Arch (Hons.), OAA, LEED AP (BD+C)

Steven is a published architectural designer whose work has been recognized most recently in the book Revealing Architectural Design: Methods, Frameworks, and Tools (2014). Trained as both a technologist and designer, Steven understands the unique and vital relationship between building science and aesthetics. With over 15 years’ experience in the field Steven has worked on projects ranging from affluent residences, to commercial/industrial projects, to complex hospital and health care related spaces.

A firm believer in the art of collaboration, Steven feels that holistic design strategies are created when a “studio environment” is utilized. This methodology promotes unity within the team while generating the best possible design solution for our clients. Lastly, as a registered LEED Accredited Professional, Steven takes the environmental considerations of any project very seriously. The design strategies that Steven generates endeavor to incorporate notions of existing context, aesthetics, constructability, sustainable attributes, and most importantly end-user functionality.

Philip Sharron

Founding Partner

Phil is a skilled professional with a commitment to design, construction documents and contract administration. His experience in small, medium and large projects covers disciplines such as residential, commercial, industrial and institutional. His extensive understanding of project coordination during the construction document phase, contract administration and project close-out allows Phil to command intense projects with ease.

Talented in the art of construction documentation, his aptitude for construction detailing and knowledge of materials/ methods allow him to produce through drawing sets. Lastly, Phil offers a diverse experience and innovative solutions when working on project independently and in collaboration with colleagues, consultants and clients

Heather Robinson

A dynamic and innovative designer in our London studio, Heather has over 5 years’ experience working on a variety of projects including unique commercial sites, educational facilities and complex health care developments. With an educational background in Urban Planning and Landscape Design, combined with her Master’s in Architecture, Heather brings a unique perspective to architectural design understanding the intricate and unique relationship between people, place and building.

Heather sees Architecture not solely as the built environment but as an entity rooted into the urban and natural environment. This connection has driven Heather to explore and continue her education through LEED and other green design standards, bringing these concepts into each project matter takes on.

Shawn Roy

Shawn is a graduate from the Architectural Technology program at Fanshawe College, where he routinely held a spot on the President’s Honour Role and was the recipient of the Architectural Technology Achievement Award for having the highest average in his program. He approaches his work with great dedication, excitement, and rigorous detail.

Shawn’s enthusiasm for learning and expanding his professional development in the world of BIM (Building Information Modelling) is evidenced by his 2014 Provincial Skills Canada Silver Medal, 2015 Provincial Skills Canada Gold Medal and 2015 National Skills Canada Gold Medal wins. From office management, planning and construction detail development to client consultation and project management, Shawn is able to quickly adapt and assess questions to apply his knowledge base to a variety of matter’s developments, while also promoting a healthy team-focused mindset within the office. Overall, Shawn strives to make sure those who work with him are acknowledged and the holistic construction process goes as smoothly as possible.
