This 62-unit mixed-use development in South Huron County represents a significant addition to the region’s architectural landscape, being one of the largest new projects of its kind. The program incorporates a diverse range of 1-3 bedroom residential units, complemented by thoughtfully designed rooftop amenities, enclosed parking, and ground-floor retail spaces, creating a fully integrated urban experience.
The core design intent was to foster dynamic interaction between the residential and commercial components, seamlessly blending the two through deliberate spatial organization. We envisioned a fluid transition from retail to residential spaces, facilitating engagement and connectivity. The commercial spaces serve as vital anchors within the development, encouraging social interaction and the cultivation of a vibrant, connected community.
Our firm led the ownership team through the complex phases of Site Plan Approval (SPA), design development, and construction documentation, completing the process within an expedited seven-month timeline. This was achieved through clear, strategic objectives and meticulous coordination, ensuring our consulting team was consistently aligned and well-informed throughout the project.
