LHSC – Diagnostic Imaging Renovation

As part of London Health Sciences Centre plans to address and upgrade diagnostic imaging city-wide, this renovation project will deliver more efficient, state-of-the-art, facilities to serve South-Western Ontario’s communities and neighbourhoods.

The project, 17,640 sq. ft. interior renovation, offers expanded imaging capabilities and modernizes critical care for patients requiring Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT) and Interventional Radiology (IR). Designed as a multi-campus, phased, developed this renovation is spread across LHSC’s primary campuses, Victoria Hospital and Children’s Hospital / University Hospital. 

The design approach for each campus was distinctive to each location while focusing on primary design principles such as departmental flow, natural design elements and phasing that allows for maintaining building operations outside of the renovated areas.
