Globally, we are facing the second and third wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic that requires swift action to reduce devasting losses. The immediate need for facilities to conduct COVID-19 testing and provide results swiftly is imperative to flattening the curve / spread of the virus in our communities.
In this regard, the renovated area is located within the pre-existing laboratory space on level 10 of Victoria Hospital. The project successfully clusters Mix-Prep./Extraction/Inoculation/Amplifications spaces within a series of positive and negative pressurized areas. With upgraded open work spaces, closed offices and custom laboratory benchwork this renovation has positively increasing COVID-19 processing times in South-Western Ontario.
